Traditional Moldovan outfit for the Diasporas

The traditional Moldovan outfit is crossing the borders! In the coming months, 35 associations of Moldovans from the Diasporas will receive 147 national Moldovan costumes. According to the Bureau of Relations with Diaspora (BRD), the outfits will be received by Moldovans from Belgium, Canada, the Russian Federation, France, Greece, Italy, Norway, Portugal, SpImageain and the US.

The traditional clothes, manufactured by the Moldovan craftswoman Ecaterina Popescu , will be given to Diasporas who have prepared special cultural events on the occasion of spring holidays.

Thanks to this kind of projects, Moldova’s unique culture will be discovered by other nations. However, don’t forget that “The first condition of understanding a foreign country is to smell it.” And the best way of understanding Moldova, is to visit it!

You can enjoy one of the events organized by Moldovans from Setubal, Portugal.
